Term Dates

Below are timetables and dates that will be helpful for you to note.  You will get reminders in our weekly newsletter but looking ahead can help you to plan accordingly so that you do not miss out on any events.

We follow Hampshire term dates.  Please look at all school term dates before booking holidays and consider the INSET days and our extended half term in October.

Holidays in Term Time

Since September 2013 the Department for Education have stated that Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. For further information, refer to https://www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/behaviour-attendance-parents#step-6

If you are requesting time off during term time, you will need to complete a leave of absence request form.  These are available from the school office.

The legal guidance means that we are not authorised to give permission for family holidays during term time, unless we are satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances.  Any unauthorised absence may result in Hampshire issuing a penalty notice or seeking legal action.  Please ask at the school office for more information.
