At Newlands Primary Academy, we believe in a shared learning journey with the families of our children.  As the children join us in Early Years, families are given a Tapestry account. This is an online learning journey where you will see an array of stories about the learning taking place in school.  You are able to upload information about their milestones and exciting adventures from outside of school too so that the adults in Early Years can celebrate and incorporate this into the school day.  

Families in Years 1-6 will be kept informed about their child's learning through parent consultations twice a year and in one written report at the end of the academic year. Information about special events, trips and enrichments will be shared in regular bulletins and newsletters as well as in the online gallery of this website and on social media.  

If your child has SEND needs, you will be invited into school on a more regular basis to speak with the teacher and SENDCo to review targets and celebrate successes.
